MACON, Ga. - As fans gear up for a new season of ABC’s hit TV show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” ShuBee Inc. has announced that it is a preferred vendor for the new season.
“Being chosen as a preferred vendor is an honor,” said Randy Bennett, ShuBee general manager. “What’s even more fulfilling for everyone at the company is having the opportunity to help so many people; from the volunteers working on the builds to the deserving families who benefit from them, we’re just happy to be in a position to help others.”
The company said it was a referral from a ShuBee client who had worked on previous “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” builds which led producers of the award winning show to contact ShuBee about being one of the 20 preferred vendors for the upcoming season.
“We were honored to play a role in such a great cause,” Owner/CEO Steve Stone said. “It feels good to know that our customers have so much confidence in us and our products that they would recommend us for something as big as being a part of this show.”
For each build on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” Season 7, ShuBee is providing safety glasses, gloves, waterproof shoe covers, dust masks, earplugs, safety vests, caution tape, Enviroshield™ microporous coveralls, and various floor covering products. These products and more were used to launch Stone’s previous plumbing/HVAC business and led to his founding of ShuBee.
