These single-point level sensors and switches detect the presence of refrigerants at a specific point in refrigerant vessels, intercoolers, packaged chillers, and other applications. Previously available only for ammonia refrigerant, models are now built for halocarbon refrigerants including R-22, -134a, -404A, and -507, the manufacturer says. The units can be used to control pumps and solenoid valves, operate low- and high-level alarms, or provide a signal to a computer for level monitoring and control. The devices feature a stainless steel probe body and plug-in electronics.
