Honeywell (Minneapolis, MN) announced a new Internet-based information management service, called Honeywell Portico service, designed to help building managers with multiple facilities reduce energy and operating costs.

Carrier Corp.’s Syracuse, NY campus has been designated by the EPA as a 1999 WasteWise Program Champion. The award recognizes the company’s accomplishment of establishing a waste reduction and recycling program that cut annual waste by 74%.

Wolverine Tube, Inc. (Huntsville, AL) announced that third quarter net sales were up 11% over last year’s third quarter. Also, the company has begun a multi-year project to upgrade and optimize its manufacturing operations.
