The Vision low-profile ice and beverage dispensers have
an optional ice water bath used to chill the beverage water and syrup before
the carbonation process. According to the manufacturer, this allows the water
to absorb more carbon dioxide, producing a beverage that is closer in quality
to bottles and cans. The ice water bath also helps avoid the dilemma of
summertime warm water conditions that can produce a “flat” or “foamy” drink,
said the company. Available in 150 or 300 pounds of ice storage, the
undercounter dispenser can be positioned in an island counter or away from the
wall without restricting visibility.
