Emerson Launches Advertising Tool for Full-Line Wholesalers
According to Mark Gibson, vice president and general manager of Emerson's Distribution Services division, the AdMaker tool is designed to support Emerson Authorized Full-Line Wholesalers in their efforts to identify and promote themselves. "When we launched the Emerson Authorized Full-Line Wholesaler program in late 2005, our wholesaler partners expressed a need for collateral materials - like ads, invoice stuffers, posters, and signage - to fully communicate the benefits of visiting an Emerson Authorized Full-Line Wholesaler location," Gibson said. "We've developed AdMaker to respond to that need and to help these wholesalers continue to build their businesses."
Designated Emerson Authorized Full-Line Wholesaler users can access AdMaker via the company's Wholesaler Portal, where templates are stored. Wholesalers can add their own logo and contact information to customize the material. AdMaker automatically generates a high-resolution file that can be sent directly to a trade publication or printer.
"One of the greatest benefits of the AdMaker tool is that it allows wholesalers to develop advertisements that promote their business and drive contractors to their location, without dedicating the time, resources, and money often associated with creating an ad from scratch," Gibson said. "The site is very user friendly, is available 24/7, and is incredibly quick at generating high-resolution files that help our wholesalers identify themselves as a premier source for Emerson products."
According to Phil Faessler, assistant manager of the Cincinnati branch of Progress Supply, AdMaker is a simple and easy-to-use tool that will allow him to better communicate with his customers. "The AdMaker tool is going to be extremely helpful in letting Progress Supply customers know we are an Emerson Authorized Full-Line Wholesaler," said Faessler. "We will be able to better communicate the range of products that they can get from us. The product photos and the verbiage are all right there on the site, so the entire process is smooth. We've already created all of the mailers that the site has to offer and will be doing more in the future."
Emerson Climate Technologies plans to continue to enhance the site with new features, templates, and services as the needs of its wholesalers evolve. There are already plans to add templates for direct mail pieces, counter mats, posters, signage, fliers, and customized sales collateral. Though currently available exclusively to Emerson Authorized Full-Line Wholesalers, the company plans to expand the service to Emerson Authorized Copeland Wholesalers in the coming months.
