Davis Named Greenheck Chairman, CEO
"It's time," said Robert Greenheck, who co-founded the company with his brother, Bernie, in 1947. "When Dwight joined our management team four years ago as president, our industry - and manufacturing as a whole - was headed into a serious multiyear downturn. In spite of the worst prolonged business climate I have ever seen, Dwight has demonstrated the unique ability to successfully lead us through adversity, while driving a sound future vision. Greenheck has fared very well under Dwight's leadership, and I look forward to seeing more exciting opportunities unfold."
Sales at Greenheck, a manufacturer of air movement and control equipment, have increased 40 percent since Davis joined the firm, and the company's worldwide workforce has grown 25 percent. Additions to existing Greenheck plants, a new plant in China, and the acquisitions of three other companies have significantly increased manufacturing capacity and distribution in recent years.
