Herman Goldner Co., Inc.(Philadelphia, PA) made sure this year’s Republican National Convention was a cool place to be. The company was responsible for the mechanical systems at Philadelphia’s First Union Center, site of the convention, along with quick restoration of the facility to its original condition for subsequent events. The project required temporary supplemental a/c in the convention area, along with cooling of the temporary structures for the media. Cooling was also needed for the TV studios set up for the event. In total, nearly 6,000 tons of additional cooling were installed.
