ClimateMaster: Water-Source and Geothermal Pumps

A new equipment size, 6-ton units, have been added to the Tranquility 27™ product line, a series of geothermal and water-source heat pumps. The units use EarthPure® (HFC-410A) refrigerant. Features of the unit include double-isolated compressor mounting, ECM variable-speed fan motor, foil-backed air-handler insulation, MERV 11 2-inch pleated filters (standard on residential units), and dehumidification mode. The heat pumps are rated for water-loop, ground-loop, and ground-water heat pump applications in upflow, downflow, horizontal, and split system configurations. The heat pump series is available in sizes ranging 2-6 tons (7.6-21.1 kW) with efficiencies up to 31.5 EER and 5.1 COP.
