The new model is capable of "smart fault" recognition, whereby the thermostat queries the microprocessor board for the specific fault condition (e.g., condensate drain plugged). The thermostat has up to three heating stages and two cooling stages. Additional features include outputs for dehumidification (reheat option or whole-house dehumidifier) and for humidification, a large (2- by 2-inch) dot matrix screen with blue backlighting, and menu-driven operation.
