In support of their long-standing relationship with International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), The City of Los Angeles submitted the names of three candidates to IAPMO’s Technical Committees as they renewed their membership with the organization.
The IAPMO’s Technical Committees are made up of industry professionals who review the proposals made to amend the codes. The code development procedures promoted by the IAPMO are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the development of American National Standards.
A Report on Proposals (ROP), compiled by the IAPMO’s Technical Committees can be downloaded at the IAPMO website at www.iapmo.org, or can be mailed upon request.
