Carrier Rental Systems: Portable Air Conditioner

A customized, 30-ton portable air conditioner has been added to the company’s rental fleet. The internal skid structure for forklifting is a unique feature on the 30-ton unit. Features include 20°F delta T and 9,500-12,000 cfm (VFD). The rugged air conditioner includes custom controls; a high static fan for long, flexible duct runs; and flexible duct connections. According to the manufacturer, the air conditioning unit has a thicker evaporator coil for a larger temperature drop. The dimensions of the five pleated air filters are 20 by 24 by 2 inches.
