The Bird Repeller
is a solar-powered unit that uses continuous motion to prevent large birds -
including pigeons and seagulls - from landing. Rotating rods mounted on top of
the unit sweep birds off of air conditioning units, balconies, roof vents, and
other places they are unwanted. The two adjustable “arms” cover up to 5 feet in
diameter; they continuously turn at 30 rpm. A solar panel powers a heavy-duty
motor, which stores the energy. According to the manufacturer, it is ideal for
use in high-visibility areas and can be mounted on flat or angled surfaces. The
Bird Repeller is humane; it will not harm the birds.
