DALLAS — Fluke Corp. is introducing its VT02 Visual IR Thermometer, a troubleshooting camera with an infrared heat map. The company says that, previously, technicians would have to choose between a single-point infrared thermometer and high-resolution thermal imager. The VT02 is designed to fill the gap, for when a single-spot temperature reading isn’t enough and a high-resolution thermal image is more than users need. This one tool combines the visual insight of a thermal imager, the visual images of a digital camera, and the point-and-shoot convenience of an infrared thermometer, says the company.
