“We’re full of confidence regarding Chillventa 2012,” said Gabriele Hannwacker, events manager, NürnbergMesse. “The current level of registrations gives us every reason to be confident. Far more people have registered with us today than at the same time in advance of the last fair.
According to exhibit coordinators, exhibitor registration has already exceeded the space occupied in the past show. As of press time, 704 exhibitors, of whom 62 percent are from abroad, have booked their stand space.
“Once again in 2012, Chillventa will grow significantly, and this applies to the stand spaces too,” said Hannwacker. “For this reason, we’ve expanded the exhibition area, so space is still available if more exhibitors want to register.”
Exhibiting companies in the segments of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps will present the industry’s broad spectrum in all its varieties at the event. Two overarching trends — energy efficiency and environmental protection — are expected to be predominant themes at the show. Exhibitors will show components and control technology that comply with the highest standards and make contributions to achieving national and international climate protection targets.
Heat pumps are expected to again play a special role at the event, according to Dr. Ranier M. Jakobs, coordinator, technical program.
“The international market for heat pumps is growing, and the technical advances in this segment are helping to establish the heat pump as a convenient and economical alternative to other generators of heat,” said Jakobs. “Precisely because of its cost advantage, and also from the angle of environmental protection, the heat pump is playing a pioneering role. In Hall 7, Chillventa will host a compact and concentrated display of everything firms have to offer relating to heat pumps, with the focus on applications in commerce and industry.”
Technical forums will be held and led by experts from industry and research-based topics, including: Cleanroom and refrigeration applications, hall 1; refrigeration technology, hall 4A; and air conditioning technology and heat pumps, hall 7.
