Stradford Elected to NADCA Board
Action Duct, based in Altadena, Calif., has been a member of NADCA for 20 years, joining shortly after NADCA was created.
“A lot of HVAC contractors have questions about the NADCA specifications they run into on jobs,” said Stradford. “I am glad we will now be able to provide a direct link to NADCA to get their queries answered.”
Stradford was asked to serve as lead writer and editor for NADCA's 2012 “Position Paper on the Use of Chemical Products in HVAC Systems.” He worked with the Environmental Protection Agency, legal counsel, chemical product manufacturers, and other NADCA members to help craft NADCA's official stance on the use of such materials.
He will be presenting the paper to the international membership in a speech at NADCA’s annual gathering in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in March 2012.
