Armstrong Creates Inverted Bucket Steam Trap Centennial Website

November 7, 2011
As part of its 100th anniversary celebration, Armstrong International has created a special Armstrong inverted bucket steam trap centennial website. The site provides stories on the history of the inverted bucket steam trap and invites visitors to share their comments or share a story of their own.

In one of the stories posted, Armstrong writes that it has sold millions of inverted bucket steam traps, but the company continues to discover new reasons why the design is special.

In another story, the company notes that the young Gus Armstrong wanted everyone to learn about the inverted bucket steam trap. Since some couldn’t travel to Three Rivers, Mich., he took the classroom to them. The story then relates the three generations of the Armstrong “Steam Van.”
