Brady Stays Active With Donations, Appointments

Greensboro, N.C.-based Brady Co. has made a number of recent announcements. On June 23, the company said it had donated nine scholarships for Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC). They will be used for HVAC students. “We are proud of these young men and women,” said Jim Brady, company president. “The program at GTCC is producing qualified graduates that are ready to enter the field.” Previously the company donated three commercial rooftop units for use in the classes.

On June 29, Brady said that employee Brian Smith has received Level II Analyst Certification by the Vibration Institute in a certification program accredited by the American National Standards Institute. According to the company, “An individual certified as a Level II Vibration Analyst has proven proficiency in six areas of expertise. These include basic vibration, data acquisition, data processing, fault analysis, condition evaluation and machine testing. Additionally, applicants need complete a four-day course of study and have at least one year of experience.”

On July 25, the company said that Michael Butland, with 16 years experience in the industry as a service technician, had joined the company as controls special project manager; Kayla Monahan, with a degree in accounting from GTCC, is serving as accounting assistant; and Brittney Williams has joined the staff as resource coordinator supporting the sales team.
