Pricing Pro Service Keeps Pricing in Check

NORMAN, Okla. - Johnson Controls introduced its York® Pricing Pro Program as part of the 2007 Liberties™ Plus Program for dealers and distributors. Pricing Pro uses a “cookbook” format of pricing, with retail pages that are customizable to each dealer’s product positioning and selling strategy.

“The new York Pricing Pro reinforces our commitment to supporting independent dealers by providing them with the tools they need to be successful,” explained Mickey Smith, York brand manager for Johnson Controls. “Pricing Pro is a service that will allow dealers to give homeowners’ the information needed to make the best choice in heating and air conditioning equipment while at the same time ensuring that their pricing structure takes into account all elements of the proposed installation.”

Pricing Pro is customized to each dealer’s market with the ability to maintain pricing from a distributor or branch. Multiple pricing systems, such as dual overhead method or divisor method, can be chosen for retail price output. Additionally, the program includes a proposal format for York products including information such as product image, model, homeowner benefits, and financing options.
