Seal inserts for the company’s two- and three-way solenoid valves are now color coded for easy identification during both factory assembly and field maintenance, the manufacturer says. Different seal materials allow a valve to be configured for various applications. Available materials include: Neoprene®, in red or black, for refrigerants; Nitrile (Buna N), in blue, for air and gas; Norden, in gray, for water and steam; and others. The color-coded inserts help to eliminate seal misapplication, says the company.
