BRIGHTON, Mich. - Encore Energy Systems Inc. announced that it has been selected by Prairie Hills Motorsport Club to install its patented grey-water geothermal system at the facility. Located in Lake Village, Ind., the motorsport facility is scheduled to be opened in the spring of 2009 and will be one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Upon completion, the entire complex will be spread over 872 acres of northwest Indiana prairie. The club will boast America’s longest road course (6.8 miles) with state-of-the-art facilities set within a country club atmosphere.

Encore Energy will supply its grey-water heat exchanger system to provide geothermal powered heating and cooling for the entire site. Benefits expected to be realized include reduced cost and time of installation. According to Encore Energy, the grey-water geothermal system does not require the drilling of deep bore well fields or trenching, thus eliminating this costly process. The system is also said to provide savings on energy bills of up to 70 percent compared to traditional HVAC units.
