May 27, 2010: RSES Announces Fall Seminar Schedule

DES PLAINES, Ill. - The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has announced five RSES Training Authority Seminars to be offered this fall. The seminars will cover the areas of residential system design, electrical troubleshooting, heat pumps, building automation systems, and high pressure centrifugal fits and clearance.

The five seminars include:

• “Residential HVAC System Design,” which will be led by Jack Rise, CMS. This seminar will be held on Sept. 21-23, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Wojcik Conference Center at Harper College in Palatine, Ill. The RSES Fox Valley Chapter will host the seminar.

• “Electrical Troubleshooting,” which will be led by Howard Pemper, CMS. This seminar will be held on Sept. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., tentatively in Fridley, Minn. The RSES Twin Cities Chapter will host the seminar.

• “Heat Pumps,” which will be led by Joe Marchese, CMS. This seminar will be held on Oct. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. at the CCAC West Hills Center in Oakdale, Pa. The RSES Greater Pittsburgh Chapter will host the seminar.

• “Building Automation Systems,” which will be led by an operations manager for a major Chicago-based mechanical engineering corporation. This seminar will be held on Oct. 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Wojcik Conference Center at Harper College in Palatine, Ill. The RSES Fox Valley Chapter will host the seminar.

• “High Pressure Centrifugal Fits and Clearance,” which will be led by Garth Denison, CMS. This seminar will be held on Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Tucson Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort in Tucson, Ariz., during the 2010 RSES Annual Conference. The RSES Southern Arizona Chapter will host the seminar.
