  • Goodman Manufacturing Company L.P. (Houston, TX) has received Maintenance Warehouse’s “Partner of the Year” award. Goodman supplies Maintenance Warehouse with Janitrol® HVAC equipment and Amana PTACs.

  • Quietside Boilers (Whittier, CA) has announced that its QVM9 and QXM8 (oil only) multipurpose boilers have earned the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Energy Star® rating for efficiency. For more information, visit www.quietside.com (website).

  • Sika Corporation Industry Products Division (Madison Heights, MI) has appointed Jeffery Edwards as area manager for the Transportation OEM and Marine Business Unit responsible for the Great Plains territory.

  • Ebtron Inc. (Myrtle Beach, SC) has announced that all of its current cataloged equipment passed the Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL) Safety Standard UL873.

  • TAC (Dallas, TX) was presented with the “Best New Product” award at the recent LonWorld™ 2002 show in Toronto, ON, Canada. The company was honored for its Xenta® 110 dual zone controller.

  • ACS Group (Wood Dale, IL) appointed Richard Kobor as executive vice president of operations. He will oversee the three ACS Group companies, which include AEC Inc., Sterling Inc., and Cumberland Engineering.

  • PowerCold Corporation (LaVernia, TX) has received contracts from four major restaurant chains to install advanced HVAC systems in new and remodeled restaurants. Upon continuous successful installations, the chains plan to install over 150 new and remodeled systems during 2003.
