  • Rheem Manufacturing Co. (Fort Smith, Ark.) promoted Jim Barnet and David Garceau to senior district technical representatives in the Air Conditioning Division.

  • Emerson Climate Technologies (St. Louis) received Frost & Sullivan's 2004 Building Technologies Customer Enhancement Award. The award is given annually to the company in the building technologies sector that best demonstrated the ability to expand its customer base with innovative value creation and enhancement strategies.

  • York International's Unitary Products Group (Norman, Okla.) will sponsor a free training program on maximizing profit in a retail environment. The event, called York Business Day, will be held Sept. 15 in St. Louis. To register, contact a local York distributor.
