The Klo-Shure® Insulation Coupling is a high-strength plastic coupling with an internal design that supports and secures copper tubing and tubing insulation, states the company. The couplings are now available in a broader range of sizes. The coupling line now supports copper tubing that is up to 4-1/8 inches in diameter (up from 2-1/8 inches in diameter). Also, it secures and seals tubular insulation with a 1/2-, 3/4-, or 1-inch wall thickness. Two styles are available. The basic version connects two lengths of insulation and support tubing at clevis hangers. The other version is designed for strut-mounted suspension devices, and is packaged with two clamp halves, fastener, and locknut.
