The winners of the 2012 AHR Expo Innovation Awards have been announced. The winners were selected in 10 product categories and represent the most innovative new products among the thousands to be displayed at the show.

SMACNA’s 2011 Safety Excellence Award Program (SSEAP) broke a record this year — the average number of lost workdays per injury or illness incident was 3.46, the lowest rate ever reported. First-place safety award winners were recognized for their companies’ safety performance.

The North American Technician Excellence (NATE) announced that Christopher Mohalley, owner of HVAC Dynamics, is the recipient of the sixth annual Golden Toolbox Award.

The Dwyer Group has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas for the fifth consecutive year. Dina Dwyer-Owens, chairwoman and CEO of The Dwyer Group, called it a crowning moment as the company celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

Specialty Services Inc. (SSI), a northern Virginia-based commercial and residential heating and air conditioning contractor, received the 2011 Angie’s List Super Service award. Only 5 percent of companies that are listed on Angie’s List, an online consumer review website, receive this service award.

LonMark® International announced the winners of its 2011 Best of the Year awards at a member reception on Jan. 24. The Best of the Year distinction honors products, companies, projects, and individuals demonstrating innovation, vision, and leadership.
