The EnOcean Alliance announced that it has defined a unified specification for remote commissioning of energy harvesting wireless devices in building automation systems to optimize and ease the control and configuration of building automation networks.
The EnOcean Alliance announced that it is advancing the interoperability between EnOcean-based wireless products from different OEMs with its release of EnOcean Equipment Profiles (EEP) Version 2.5. More than 100 product profiles are now available for developing different energy harvesting wireless solutions.
The EnOcean Alliance announced the availability of a new line of energy harvesting wireless modules communicating on the 902 MHz band for the North American market. The line increases effective radio frequency range, enhances resistance to interference, and simplifies product development due to shorter antenna lengths.
