Representatives from the Hemet Unified School District, Tioga Energy, Johnson Controls, De Lage Landen, and Wells Fargo & Co. gathered in Hemet, Calif., to celebrate the completion of 17 solar electric systems for district schools that are expected to save the district approximately $300,000 in utility costs annually.
Georgetown University is going solar with SolarCity on a project that is expected to cut the school’s energy bills by tens of thousands of dollars and reduce more than 600,000 pounds of carbon pollution over its lifetime.
