Long-time Austin, Texas-area heating and air conditioning contractor, Chris Strand, has acquired Stan’s Heating & Air Conditioning, an Austin company formerly owned by Stan Johnson. Strand founded Strand Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning in 1978, and later sold the business to Service Experts.
Randy Novak, president-elect of SMACNA, has urged his fellow contractors to follow his example and become involved in the home performance contracting market. Novak often works with Home Star Iowa and the firm’s chief building analyst, Rob Novak — who just happens to be his brother.
