On the 113th anniversary of Dr. Willis H. Carrier’s invention of modern air conditioning, Carrier announced it is celebrating another milestone: 175 million metric tons of avoided greenhouse gas emissions since 2000 as a result of the installation of high-efficiency Carrier HVACR systems.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the July 17, 1902 invention of modern air conditioning by Dr. Willis Haviland Carrier. Carrier Corp. is celebrating this milestone with the launch of a new website dedicated to its history, and the life and work of Willis Carrier.
