Newest Version of Green Building Rating System to Launch at Greenbuild

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced that its membership has voted to adopt LEED v4, the next update to its green building rating system. The final overall vote was 86 percent in favor of adopting LEED v4.
The new George W. Bush Presidential Center has been awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, its highest level of certification. It is the first presidential library to earn LEED Platinum certification for new construction.
