Refrigerant Management Canada (RMC) celebrated 10 years of fighting ozone depletion on International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, Sept. 16.
According to the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), HRAI staff and member participants in the Refrigerant Management Canada (RMC) program met with representatives from Environment Canada on Sept. 8 to discuss the implementation of a Pollution Prevention (P2) plan for halocarbons.
Refrigerant Management Canada (RMC) announced Linde Canada will no longer act as a collection service for the RMC program. Linde Canada’s work with RMC has ensured the safe collection and disposal of over 2.5 million kilograms of surplus refrigerant.
