Energy efficiency ratings (SEER/EER) of air conditioners and heat pumps keep rising, thanks to new technologies such as electronically commutated motors (ECMs), inverter-driven compressors, and advanced heat exchangers. These technologies have helped boost high-end cooling equipment ratings to the mid-20-SEER range, which was unthinkable just a few years ago.
The Smart Frog air conditioner offers high-efficiency variable-speed performance in a small cabinet and provides up to 23-SEER cooling efficiency. Its variable-speed inverter capacity control delivers operation for load matching, dehumidification, and zoning performance.
Bob and Tim just arrived at the house of a new customer. The customer explained to them that he just started up his air conditioner for the first time this spring. There was a warm spell, and the system didn’t work. As a matter of fact, it didn’t cool — the outdoor unit did not run at all. Bob explained to the customer that they would get started looking at the system and figure out what was going on.
LG Electronics hosted a press conference during the 2017 AHR Expo to reveal its expanded 2017 lineup of commercial and residential HVAC solutions with a new customizable control system, next-generation variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology, new heating capabilities, and design tools.

Some situations require new ways of thinking — and setting up the air conditioners on the roof of the ebm-papst location in Hagenmoos/St. Georgen was one of them. The factory hall is simply too large for conventional setup with a crane. They would have had to build an access road especially for the crane. Instead, they decided to transport the five air conditioners to the roof via helicopter.
The Bard MULTI-TEC gives you the ability to link up to 14 wall mount air conditioners to a single intelligent building control. It only takes two wires to each air conditioner, and your entire building can be up and running.
