The Affordable Comfort Inc. (ACI) board of directors has announced the resignation of CEO Amy Fazio. Fazio joined ACI in February 2010 and the board said she successfully led the organization through a time when the industry faced several significant challenges.

The Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) announced that BPI-2100-S-2013: Standard for Home Performance-Related Data Transfer and BPI-2200-S-2013: Standard for Home Performance-Related Data Collection have been published as BPI standards.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced that registration is now open for the second annual Building Performance Forum. The event is scheduled for Oct. 1-2, 2013, at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol in Austin, Texas. The event is being presented by ACCA and The NEWS.

Gail and George Bohling received a Silver Certificate from Alderman Mary O’Connor because of improvements made to their home in Chicago’s 41st Ward. The improvements are expected to save them an estimated $483 annually on their utility bills and an estimated 24 percent reduction in gas energy usage.
