University of Dayton students designed “supermarkets of the future” as part of the E-Week Innovation Challenge sponsored by Emerson during the university’s Engineers Week. The contest encouraged participants to deliver innovative ideas that demonstrate new approaches to today’s supermarket challenges.
One flick that turns up every fall is called “Love at the Thanksgiving Parade.” One scene is supposed to take place in late November in Chicago. The good-looking guy and good-looking girl are shopping at a supermarket. But there do not appear to be any doors at the front of the store.

TrakRef Will Be Used to Manage All 167 Stater Bros. Supermarkets

Polar Technology, a leading provider of refrigerant management solutions, has announced that Stater Bros., the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California, is implementing its cloud-based solution called TrakRef.
