According to the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) manufacturer’s division, ductless split systems shipments showed the highest product sector gain in the fourth quarter of 2011, increasing by 30 percent over the previous year.
Mixed signals make it difficult to determine what to expect over the next year, although most manufacturers echo Gary Clark, senior vice president of marketing, Goodman Global Group Inc., who stated, “Overall, we see 2012 being very similar to 2011.”
