The CoreSense™ Diagnostics electronics modules in Copeland Scroll® compressors unlock advanced capabilities in fixed-speed and two-stage compressors. Designed to help contractors troubleshoot residential air conditioning systems, the modules use the compressor as a sensor.
A full lineup of fluid sensing and power products for residential and commercial HVACR applications is available. Residential components include condensate overflow switches and fluid level and flow sensors for a/c compressor coils; proximity and position sensors and reed switches for furnaces; and more.
Tecumseh’s newest addition to its Masterflux product line is a Sierra variable speed compressor and system controller for solar-powered air conditioning applications.
With the potential to reduce refrigeration-related energy expenses by up to 10 percent, the Copeland Scroll® K5 Refrigeration Compressor is designed for large refrigeration applications (7.5 to 15 hp), says the company.
Bitzer’s ECOLINE R-134a Octagon Reciprocating Compressors are optimized for use with R-134a. The ECOLINE series increases energy efficiency up to 20 percent compared to traditional R-404A medium temperature systems, the company says.
