GLV's Flexible Square Semi-Rigid Clothes Dryer Transition Duct, listed to UL2158A, attaches to a standard 4-inch round dryer exhaust pipe and 4-inch dryer vent pipe. It requires only 3.3 inches of space behind the clothes dryer and is specifically designed and approved for use with all gas and electric clothes dryers. The square ductwork is constructed of a multi-layer and flame retardant heavy-duty aluminum laminate that encapsulates a resilient steel wire helix. Tear and puncture resistant, the duct resist crushing and maintains its shape virtually eliminating crimping or sagging. These measures help preserve efficient air flow reducing dust and lint build up improving overall drying time.
