GeoPraxis, Inc.: Energy Analysis Web Service

The Green Building Studio (GBS) Web service enables early-stage design teams to integrate whole-building energy analysis into the architectural practice, says the company. It provides energy analysis using DOE-2 and EnergyPlus, while identifying appropriate product information to building design teams. It can be used to share data with others using other engineering analysis and sales tools. GBS streamlines building design, seamlessly linking building information models or 3-D CAD building designs with energy analysis. The company says users can understand immediately the operational and energy implications of early design decisions using Green Building XML connectors for various programs.
