ROCKFORD, Ill. - Eclipse Inc. recently established a service certification process within its U.S. Global Services organization. The new certification process requires all field service personnel to undergo a combination of classroom, laboratory, online, and field training. Testing is also administered to verify expertise.

Prior to earning the Certified Service Technician designation, each field service technician is required to pass tests in 14 industrial safety courses facilitated and administered by J. J. Keller Inc. In addition, each Certified Service Technician successfully completes a two-phase technical instruction program co-developed and facilitated by Dick Bennett of Janus Technology. The certification process also includes stringent management review of interpersonal skills and the use of technology to support the company's customer base.
