NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Ferguson contributed $10,000 to support the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation’s 2007 “Invest In Your Future” Annual Giving Campaign.  Ferguson’s gift complements a contribution-matching program provided by InSinkErator. This is the third year Ferguson has participated in the program, which raises $125,000 in contributions to support the PHCC Educational Foundation’s mission of providing quality education to contractors and their employees. A portion of the proceeds also supports the PHCC National Auxiliary Scholarship Program.

“Ferguson’s generosity makes a tremendous impact on the success of this fundraiser,” said Fran Williams, foundation chairman.

The foundation asked its donors to make their gifts early in 2007 to allow the organization to focus on developing additional contractor education programs this fall.

“Ferguson’s gift has now brought us within $10,000 of our fundraising goal for the year,” noted Williams. “With a little help from those in our industry interested in supporting education, we can do that.”
