The RS-3 combines high-efficiency Dynamic Air Cleaners with the company’s Sterile Sweep UVC unit. The manufacturer says that dynamic panels capture airborne particles and biologicals. The UVC unit continuously scans and penetrates the media with a focused oscillating beam of high-output UVC, the company says. According to the manufacturer, when comparing stationary UVC lamps to the oscillating Sterile Sweep, the Sterile Sweep is the only one that provides the close proximity and contact time needed to capture and kill contaminants and highly resistant organisms such as molds and bacterial spores.
