MEMPHIS, TN —, an hvacr marketplace for selling parts, goods, and services on the Internet, recently introduced its “Business to Industry” (B2I) concept to the hvacr trade.

Until now, all Internet businesses fell under two e-commerce standards, “Business-to-Consumer” (B2C) or “Business-to-Business” (B2B). B2C businesses supply consumers with purchasing capabilities supported by their website for retail consumers only. B2B enterprises have traditionally provided purchasing options and supply management solutions for large corporate purchasing departments.

According to the company, B2I is the “third pillar” of e-commerce standards. It says this model allows and others to bring together the purchasing capabilities, value-added content, and Internet-hosted application software for highly fragmented industries, such as the hvacr industry.

The flexibility of the B2I concept allows businesses to serve the personal as well as the professional needs of their customers, which is important to says that by bringing manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers together, it has developed the leading B2I marketplace on the Internet for the sale of parts, equipment, goods, and services within the hvacr industry.

“We have developed the B2I e-commerce model to fulfill the need within the Internet e-commerce community for businesses to serve their entire customer base,” says David B.
