The Vapor-logic®3 master controller now can control the steam production of up to 16 of the manufacturer’s humidifiers, giving users expanded capacity with consistent humidity control. It anticipates increased rh demand and preheats humidifier tanks as needed to provide a rapid response to demand changes. Multiple-humidifier control also provides automatic runtime balancing and schedules humidifier tank draining and flushing for each humidifier based on demand and duty. For uninterrupted service in critical applications, multiple-humidifier systems can be programmed to bring a redundant humidifier online when another humidifier in the group is inoperable and no other humidifier in the system is available to meet the demand. According to the company, the controller and all humidifiers in the multiple-humidifier group are configured at the factory, requiring only minimal onsite wiring during installation.
