Dectron, Inc.: DEHUMIDIFIER CONTROL

The Water Smart Design feature for the company’s indoor swimming pool dehumidifiers is designed to provide uninterrupted dehumidification and air conditioning during pool water circulation disruptions or shutdowns, says the company. The feature, which includes a programming enhancement on the proprietary on-board microprocessor control, is now standard on all DS/RS, DSV, and DB/RB Series commercial and residential dehumidifiers. In the event of a water circulation interruption, this feature activates an alarm and automatically bypasses the pool water heat exchanger, but continues normal compressor operation and humidity control to protect the facility, the company says.
