HOUMA, La. - Coburn Supply, a Ruud distributor, has opened a new Prostock® store in Houma, La. This addition joins the company’s five other Prostock stores located in Louisiana and Texas.
The grand opening was attended by dozens of contractors from across the region. Participating vendors, including Ruud, Prostock, Uniweld, Virginia, Fluke Meters, and White-Rodgers, were on hand to showcase and discuss new products. The main attraction, however, was the new Prostock store’s layout, featuring a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and 1,500-square-foot showroom. Attendees to the event were treated to a gumbo and hamburger buffet and given multiple door prizes.
“We are very pleased with the new look of our store. The Prostock model has given us a more professional image and the new layout has been a big hit among our contractor customers,” said Dudley “Boo” Talbot, sales manager. “In the past, we had products that people didn’t know we carried back in the warehouse. Now, with everything so well displayed and organized, we’re much more of a one-stop shop.”
