Course Description: The course, a part of the REHAU Academy, covers introductory- and intermediate-level subjects, which include selling the advantages of radiant heating; designing systems to deliver performance, comfort, efficiency, and control; combining radiant floor heating with other radiant panels; managing high heat-loss rooms; choosing manifolds and controls; designing and installing hydronic snow and ice-melting systems.

Course Title: Fuse and Electrical Safety, the Dangers of Arc Flash and Short Circuits

Location: Linthicum Heights, Md.

Course Description: Several in-depth topics are covered in the seminar, including interrupting rating of fuses and circuit breakers, fuse types and proper application, motor protection, overview of safety standard NFPA 70, and use of personal protective equipment. This seminar is recognized by NATE for 5 hours of continuing education credits toward renewing NATE certification.
