WICHITA FALLS, TX — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held here at Carrier Corporation’s 230,000-sq-ft Magic Aire Manufacturing Facility on October 9. The event was held in order to celebrate the official launch of the company’s new Econozone™ line of indoor package commercial units.

Econozone indoor package commercial units will be utilized in multistory office buildings with multiple tenants, where individual floor-by-floor units allow tenants to control their own heating and cooling needs, says the company.

For Wichita Falls, the ribbon-cutting event served as a completion of one of the town’s 2001 economic development projects, which focus on the expansion of existing local businesses.
