The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the U.S. and Canada (UA), Local 777, reports that Robert V. Reardon, retired superintendent for Fishbach Nakin, Hartford, CT, has received a 50-year certificate and pin, and life membership card.

The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) College of Fellows has awarded three $1,200 scholarships for the 2000-2001 academic year. Recipients are:

• Erin Sykes of Longport, NJ, associated with John Sykes Company Inc.;

• Megan E. Klein of La Habra Heights, CA, associated with Graycon Inc.; and

• Joseph E. Bloomfield III of Portage, IN, associated with Bloomfield Mechanical Corp.
