  • Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association (PHCC) (Falls Church, Va.) is accepting applications for PHCC national awards that will be presented during the association's 122nd annual convention, Oct. 12-16 in Boston.   • The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) (Ottawa) appointed Richard LeBlanc to the CABA board of directors. LeBlanc is president of Siemens Building Technologies, HVAC Products Division (Buffalo Grove, Ill.).

  • The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) (Washington) has released its Project Delivery Systems for Construction textbook to help clarify construction project delivery. The book distinguishes management methods from delivery methods and discusses financing, operations, and maintenance. For more information, visit www.agc.org/bookstore.

  • The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) (Washington) announced that Retro-Tech Systems Inc. (Phoenix) has been accredited as an energy efficiency contractor; Trane (Tyler, Texas) has been accredited as an energy service company; and Abacus Engineered Systems (Seattle) has been reaccredited as an energy service company.

  • The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) (East Petersburg, Pa.) will sponsor seminars Oct. 6-7 in Baltimore, aimed at contracting company owners, managers, and technicians.
