  • Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association (PHCC) (Falls Church, Va.) is accepting applications for PHCC national awards that will be presented during the association's 122nd annual convention, Oct. 12-16 in Boston.   • The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) (Ottawa) appointed Richard LeBlanc to the CABA board of directors. LeBlanc is president of Siemens Building Technologies, HVAC Products Division (Buffalo Grove, Ill.).

  • The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) (Washington) has released its Project Delivery Systems for Construction textbook to help clarify construction project delivery.   • The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) (Washington) announced that Retro-Tech Systems Inc. (Phoenix) has been accredited as an energy efficiency contractor; Trane (Tyler, Texas) has been accredited as an energy service company; and Abacus Engineered Systems (Seattle) has been reaccredited as an energy service company.

  • The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) (East Petersburg, Pa.) will sponsor seminars Oct. 6-7 in Baltimore, aimed at contracting company owners, managers, and technicians.
