ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA International), has signed on as the newest U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Allied Partner.

The partnership will allow AMCA International to work with DOE’s Office of International Technologies (OIT) Best Practices to develop publications and joint activities that promote fan system efficiency, identify fan system projects in industry for case studies, disseminate software and information, and help in the creation of assessment tools for new fan systems.

The main objective of the partnership will be to increase end-user awareness of operations or system design that may lead to improved productivity, energy efficiency, and reduced life cycle costs for industrial fan systems.

AMCA and DOE have already cooperated on the development of a book entitled Improving Fan System Performance: A Sourcebook for Industry Publication date: 05/14/2001
